AgroSense is a modular farm management system. This means that the basics to administer a farm are provided, and that these basics can be expanded with blocks of functionality: so called 'Modules'. These modules can be offered by AgroSense, but also by others. Some of them are free, some of them require a fee.
AgroSense can be used for basic farm management actions. This includes functionality for administering fields, fieldplans, production units, tasks and stock. By administering these objects it's possible to track everything from entrance to exit of the farm. When AgroSense 2.0 is released the functionality covers complete compliance with Globalgap.
Additional to the basic version of AgroSense you can expand the application with modules. These modules can add many different types of functionality to AgroSense. Examples are sensor-modules, wheatherinformation, ISO-communication and many more. These modules can be found in the store (clicking 'tools -> shop'). Some modules may require a fee for usage, while others are free of charge. That is completely up to the owner of the module. That's right: AgroSense isn't the only party deploying modules. Currently some additional modules are developed in the Program Precision Ag (PPL, a Dutch program).
This help probably doesn't answer every question that comes to mind. If that's the case, there is always the possibility of contacting us by email: info@agrosense.nl.
