AgroSense has a lot of settings and options that supply input for the default behaviour of the application. Options is the correct place to store and edit them.
Under the general options you can setup a proxy. Most users don't need to change the proxy-settings. They are only relevant when a proxy is used for connecting to the internet. In that case it's best to enter the proxy-details in this screen.
AgroSense contains several shortcuts. By opening the options, and opening the keymap page you can show and edit these keyboard shortcuts. Just find the action for which you want to add or edit the shortcut, and double-click the shortcut-field. Now press the desired shortcut, and save the options.
The miscellaneous options provide some general options for behaviour of windows, files and the tilecache. It's recommended to just leave them as they are.
The crop list shows crops, with their classifications and races. These crops can be used throughout the application. When you administer multiple farms they all share the same croplist. In this croplist it's possible to add, edit and remove crops from the general list. When renaming crops just remember that this also changes history. Deleting a crop that has been used in the application is not possible, because it would corrupt data.
Again: for most users the current crop list is sufficient. The initial list of crops is obtained from NAK tuinbouw, a Dutch organisation that administers crops and races.
