A field is an important object on a farm. You can grow crops on fields, plan actions on fields, put cattle on them. The following sections lead you through the possibilities of fields.
Basically a field is a polygon with a location. It has some other properties (like soiltype), but it is a polygon with a location. Fields can be imported or created in AgroSense.
Fields are used to create production units. A production unit is basically the combination of a crop and a location. There's more to it, but for now that's enough. When you've created a production unit it's time to expand it with fields. Drag a field to the production unit, and it will automatically convert into a cropfield. This way the production unit also retrieves a location.
