MetaPrint2D - Menu and Toolbar

Toolbar

The MetaPrint2D toolbar is only visible if a single chemical structure or the Molecules Table is open, and the MetaPrint2D feature is installed.

toolbar

a) Calculate MetaPrint2D for the active compound/compounds
b) Remove MetaPrint2D coloring for the active compound/compounds
c) Toggle automatic MetaPrint2D calculation on changes in chemical structure
d) Choose MetaPrint2D database ALL
e) Choose MetaPrint2D database DOG
f) Choose MetaPrint2D database HUMAN
g) Choose MetaPrint2D database RAT

Menu

The MetaPrint2D menu is available from the main menu in Bioclipse. It has the following options:

Species

Chooses the currently selected database (same as using the toolbar):

* ALL
* DOG
* HUMAN
* RAT

Search mode

This defines the criteria for how many hits are required to classify the atoms into low, medium, and high probability. Available options are:

* Loose
* Standard
* Strict

In general the standard setting provides good balance. However, for molecules with a large number of common environments the strict setting may be employed, to provide greater discrimination between sites of metabolism, and for molecules with rare environments the loose setting may be used.
