weeve is a tiny open source experiment made during
re-allocated winter break family time by
@dzello.
Developers, learn more about weeve - an HTML5, server-less application:
How's it work?
Join the weeve by signing in with your Twitter account. Once you've joined,
your timeline will be added into the timelines
of other users on the page, creating an uber-timeline!
Note: To stop sharing your timeline at any time, just close the browser tab or click 'logout'.
If you're not on the page, your account is completely inactive.
What's a timeline?
Your timeline is not the tweets you post. Rather,
it's your feed, your stream. It's the tweets from everyone you follow.
What happens when I leave the page or close my browser?
You leave the weeve, and your timeline stops going to the weeve.
But you can always come back, as long as the weeve isn't full.
What's a weeve like compared to normal Twitter?
It's like if you also followed all the users in the weeve and they
were retweeting every single tweet from their timeline.
Will I find this useful?
Well, that's up to you! But ideally by participating in a
weeve, or just watching one, you'll find new and interesting things
on Twitter you wouldn't have seen otherwise.
Note: If you're uncomfortable with other users
seeing your Twitter timeline, please do not use this site. Also note that
weeve does *not* show tweets from protected accounts.
What should I do next?
Close this modal window in 5 seconds. Then click 'Sign in with Twitter'
(weeve requires only read access to your account).
When you come back, you'll see your avatar in the row of users
and your timeline will begin to appear like magic.
