To disable AutoRecover for a specific workbook : AutoRecover « Editing « Microsoft Office Excel 2007 Tutorial

Click the Office button. Click Excel Options.

Click Save. Click the File list arrow. 
           Select the workbook you want to disable.

Select the Disable AutoRecover for this workbook only check box.

Click OK.
